I just bought a new 2010 Marauder

Had the cars up to the L/M dealer for service & while waiting around the salesguy says take a look at the new MK-S GTDI. Huh? wassat? He shows me the Lincoln equivalent of the SHO, but with a special trim package, called the "Ecoboost Appearance Package".

Included with the black on black car (heavy on the metallic) are unique 10-spoke 20' wheels, front floor mats with logo, lighted door sill strips with logo, wood trim delete w/graphite-type trim (sound familiar), color matched lower trim all around, unique grille, and a rear winggy dinggny thinngie.

Six speed with the twin turbo, seems to run well, but don't expect Trilogy performance.

I had a brain-fade moment & bought it. Sure is a quiet car.

(My brother-in-law has the new Lincoln MKS EcoBoost....they are really nice cars!
Quietest car I've ever ridden in. The speed is deceiving because it is so quiet and smooth...no turbo lag or 'light switch' turbo boost)

I have had my 2009 MKS for 1 1/2 years and I love it. The Ecoboost engine was not available when I bought mine, but the guys on the MKS forum that have it love the car.

I have 28,000 miles on mine and have never had a problem. It's quiet and has a great ride. We are driving from Charlotte to Las Vegas this summer. Expect to add about 6,000 miles on that trip.

Enjoy your car and let us know how you like the Ecoboost. Guys on the MKS forum say that the turbo is automatically detuned at the beginning. As you get more miles on it, it opens up. Need about a thousand before you get full power.

Nice. I really like the MKZ, but it doesn't come with ecoboost.
I want to like the Taurus, and I do, but from 100 feet away, it looks like the Camry!
