View Full Version : Got insulted and complimented at 7-11.
Rolled up to the local 7-11 about an hour ago, one of the cashiers was outside smoking a cig. He's a nice guy, chatted with him before a time or two. I get out and say "Hey", he says "Man, nice SS!" :eek: I wheeled to the right to look down at him and was about to yell "SAY THAT TO MY FACE !!", but I realized he pretty much just said that to my face, so I unclenched my fists and kind of smiled and said "A nice SS what." He said "SS Marauder, that's a Marauder right?" I said "Well you're partially right. No Marauder SS's though." He said "I thought they made the Marauder SS to compete with the Impala SS?" So I informed him otherwise. I thought it was cool that he even knew it was a Marauder, since he probably wasn't even old enought to drive in 2003. And since he mentioned SS Impala and one was not there to defend itself I'm counting it as a kill.

We need to come up with some powerful way to inform the world of what we are.....anyone down for a 10-15 car police chase so we can embarass all the Crown Vics. That would make national headlines right? :P

I have used the term "Grand Marquis SS" for those people who can't seem to understand the Marauder concept. :o

So Casey got insulted by the SS comment because it obviously isn't a Chevy, but complimented because the guy thought it was a Marauder and not a GM and Casey just went along with it???? PHAIL!

This already happened but with an SS impala. It embarrassed the whole force even the chopper following.
