Not at all. Bawazir is looking to sell grills and floor mats. Unlike Rich (custom diamond plate stereo installs), Zack (badgeless grills) and Ron (dead pedals), grills and floor mats are not made by him and is not considered a "hobby." He's making himself a middle-man and looking to use this website as a means to sell products, hence the need to become a vendor. He has been made aware of this.

I guess my biggest question here is how did you NEATLY cut the teeth out and how did you adhere the new teeth to create the badgeless look? Just trying to figure out how this is done with out it looking like a hack job...

It's a whole new grill. The grill is plastic, not metal.

IRRC, Zack makes a badgeless grill by cutting out the bars with the medallion "circle" ans replaces them with straight bars cut out of a donor grille, thus a badgeless grill is a re-worked OEM. Correct on the plastic.

You are correct... Two obviously plastic grills become one by cutting out the teeth that are effected by the badge and sacrificing teeth from another grill to fill the void. Seemed pretty simple, just need the time and patience. I am pretty good with body work, so I think it would be an interesting project to try myself!

Zack, I agree that aftermarket parts are shite. What do you think about using an OEM grille to become the badgeless one, and then the "donor" grille being an aftermarket one, would the 4 or so aftermarket slats be that inferior??

The shape of the slats are not a perfect match, nor is the paint, nor is the quality of the actual material.
Ive made several knockoff badgeless grills and they dont look nearly as good.
Usually the paint is garbage right out of the box.

Good point, I was only thinking SB too, my slats don't have any paint. But if they are that inferior I'd have no problem sacrificing another OEM one for the donor. I was just curious.

They may? I never really inspected them that close, I didn't think they would waste the paint to turn black slats, black??

Up close it is slick, really.

It's actually 1 of 1 that he made. IIRC, it was real pain to make, so no more were produced. I'd love to have one in DBP, but can't get the Zackster to change his mind.
