New Daily Driver - 2010 Lincoln MKT

[Rick-n-Miami]

I took the '08 Sable to the dealer on Thursday for an oil change. The lease was almost up, so I was looking around at the new goods. I ended up walking away with a new 2010 Lincoln MKT.

It's fully loaded with the new Ecoboost + 6-speed drivetrain and all sorts of gadgets, etc. It's a little odd at first, but it's quite a nice vehicle. I've already had two people talk to me about it while out and about.

I'm going to give Lidio a call this week and see what the scoop is on tuning this beast. I've heard several people say that they can tune well over 400 hp... we will see :)

I looked at the MKS too, but I needed the cargo space. Truthfully, the MKT has many more features than the MKS. It seems to be Ford's most advanced vehicle, IMHO.

Nice Lincoln with the badazz Ecoboost too!

I've heard that FORD detuned the Ecoboost to keep the automatic transmissions alive during their warranty period.
