As you can see, the rear induction flaps have not been finished off. I told him awile back not to spend any time on it as I am just gonna cover it with stainless or something, I have no plans on making it functional, there would be no way keeping water off the engine.

Yes Casey, I still haven't replaced the rusty license plate bolts.:P Soon friend, soon.

I had an Air induction scoop off my '80 Z28 sitting in the shed for 10 years. One day I yanked it out and set it on top the car and blammo, damn near perfect fit! So I bought a junkyard cop car hood for $60.00 and bolted and molded it in.

Looks great! I think the first thing I said to you in Louisville was "What happened to the hood scoop?" And you were like "Quit hogging the blankets and I'll tell you." And Joe and lowbuck were like "Keep the noise down, you're upsetting the goat." Okay part of that I made up.

?Thinkin a beefier engine rebuild. New blower eventually to follow, still not sure of just which one yet, but i'd like to see 600 RWHP without spray. First I needs my job back.

Your blower looks SAWEET in that pic! Whens the tune?

I just blame it on STML or LTML due to the strokes but parts for the Marauder :shake: never ever forget them.

Whipple time?
That was my original thought over the winter. Now I'm tossed between Whipple, T-trim, or just maybe a twin turbo:eek: I am a plumber you know, the idea of fabbing pipes doesn't scare me whatsoever.:D

Thanks everyone! After having the stocker back on for a little over a year, I am back and forth on it myself. At some angles I love it, and at some I am unsure? In person it is hardly noticeable, with all the black and the gentle curves it really does blend right in when viewed from the side. This is what the original idea was though, I didn't want it to stand out with sharp edges. I'd love some negative feedback also, I have thick skin LOL We'll see how long I keep it this time.

Here's some negative feedback, your lanky, and your farts smell. :puke:
But you probably meant the hood. No can do bud, I always loved how subtle that hood was, I'm glad it's back, can't wait to see it tonight

I currently messing around with the inlet on the back. I dremeled down the 15 layers of paint and rust in the corner. Now the decision, use the wire mess I bought and painted today just to cover it up, or do like the kids want and make it so it opens at the jam of the loud pedal? All I need is a controler from an '80-'81 Z28 for the gas pedal, a homemade bracket to support and about four feet of wire, not a real biggie. Unfortionately it is designed for carbeurated cars, so to make this fuctional, I would have to tap into the OEM air box, no matter what it would look hideous under the hood, plus I don't wanna go back the the air box. It could atleast serve as a heat escape easy enough.

Decisions, decisions.

I am not one for aftermarket hoods. Usually look like garbage. But I like how smooth it blends in and the low profile too. I think it would be way cool to have it open and close like it did on the Camaro.

As for negative feedback. Its an 80's GM product...............That has been put to better use.
