The car already had the exhaust done when I bought it, so I really have nothing to compare it to. A lot of people ask me about it too because the first encounter anyone has with my car is the rumble, but I feel like a tard since I don't actually know what is different.

All I do know is there are Flowmaster mufflers, but I don't know what else is different, if anything.

Here are a few pics of the underside of the car, maybe you can tell me what else might be different? Thanks!

Well for one, you're running no rear cats, and that'll increase your volume a lot. The mufflers look like the 40 series (super or delta, I'm not sure). And you might have resonator delete tips, but you didn't take any pictures of the inside so there's no way to tell. Good setup though.

Cool, thanks. I'll see if I can get a shot inside the tips, I didn't even know there was anything in there.

With a Marauder, the tips are so big they can have the resonators inside of them. If you still have them, the cheapest option is to go to a shop and just have them punch out the resonators and put the tips back on. I met a guy who had that done, it was like $30.

Another easy way to tell is to just look at them, if they poke out the back a couple inches rather than being flush with them bumper, you probably don't have resonators. Cause when you loose the resonators you should extend the tips back at least 2 inches to eliminate drone.

Before I go check, here's a shot of the back of the car. I'll take a shot inside the tips, but maybe this will help.

That doesn't tell much as far as the resonators. There are a number of people who leave the tail pipes flush with the bumper (myself included) when they switch. Just look inside, if you see a tube welded inside the pipe with little holes in it you have your answer.

The tips don't look to be cut and rewelded so my guess is there still in there. Looks like just a rear cat delete and some flow's.

Looks like Flowmaster 40 Delta series. Just take a flashlight and look into the tips if you see a big thing in there then they are resonated, if not they are res-delete.

Is there any advantage to knocking those out?

A little better exhaust note finish. I had almost the same setup Flowmaster Super 40's with the 2nd set of cats deleted and added on the res-delete tips, I think the thing I noticed the most was exhaust note kind of "howled", seemed to be more of a crisp sound coming out compared to the stock tips that sounded like they pinched the sound down some if you get what I mean. If you already like the rumble of your exhaust getting res-delete tips or having the resonators removed from yours will help finish out the exhaust note, kind of like tuning sound waves, res-delete tips bellow out the sound instead of it being forced out some small hole inside the resonator.
