I really like my Rockford Fosgate! What a diffreence in sound for now. Someday i'd like Pops to redo the entire car though.

It depends what your trying to go for. Like do you want to set car alarms or just want to hear some bass inside the car? And can you post pics of the trunk I want to see the enclosure. And I have 2-12" pioneer premiers running off a 2000 watt quasonic not sure on the name of the amp tho.

I prefer the Kicker L5 and L7s. They thump like hell and look cool because they are square. I'm installing a single L5 10" in the trunk w/a JL 500/1.

Since your box is round I would holler at Pops and see what he has for the Kicker Comp VRs as I know they will handle the power and thump like crazy.

Not looking to set off alarms, i`m just looking to crank up my Van Halen like it was 1978..... My custom enclosure is a 10" so i`m pretty limited as far as size. My system is Pioneer Avic Z3, 1 4X350-kicker amp for speakers and 1 kicker 1x1000 sub amp.....

It not only sounds amazing but it looks near perfect,I would just like to improve the bass a tad.....At high(er) volumes the current sub speaker (distorts) even with the amp turned way down, so plain and simple its too weak for the system..

Thanks fr the input guys, hope I can find something soon..

infinity's nice deep tone. but it depends on your stereo so you can set your equalizer thats the key to a good sound.

If you want it to hit hard go for Rockford Fosgate T1D410 and wire it in parallel, (only if your amp is stable to handle the load) and enjoy!

Try taking your car to a local soundshop and have them tune you radio, mine sounded the.same until I got it tuned, then it was sounding really clear and no distortion. Maybe that will help before you spend more money on a new subwoofer. Just something I have gone through, hope it helps.

Check with Magindat. He's the ****nit on stereo stuff. Especially if you are doing it in a marauder or other panther.

I`ll have to measure the box......I had it made by a friend of mine,it just fits on the shelf.....The shelf (where the deck speakers are) is barley 11" tall
