I flashed the D1 software up to D2 and current maps at the time. (Pioneer may have flashed it back.) I also sent an IR steering wheel controller and a handheld remote control.
Aside from the screen calibration issue, this unit was terrific. There are features about it that I miss in the F90BT I replaced it with.
It's a good unit and Barry's TLC with the screen cal and the accessories make this a great deal for getting into an excellent stereo with NAV or a decent NAV with a good stereo!
The audio portion of this unit is quite good as well!

Rich, How hard is it to install?

I bought the 03 factory radio from FastMerc that he won in the raffle in Louisville, but that one has the same problem as my original.

I have this same model in my Marauder, and I love it. The screen does become uncalibrated and is a bit annoying, but never enough to make me want to take it out and sent it to pioneer.

I have yet to see another in-dash that I like worth replacing the D1 with.

I have yet to see another in-dash that I like worth replacing the D1 with.

D2 or D3. Same unit but have DVD playing capability. My D1 crapped out on me. The screen just went black one day and hasn't worked since. I could hear the radio playing and could still push the buttons on screen but couldn't see anything. Ended up selling it on Ebay for $85 bucks.

BTW if anyone needs a brand new LCD panel or a brand new touch panel for these, let me know. I have them.

You mean the pioneer harness that connects to the D1 or the aftermarket one that connects the factory harness to the D1 harness?
