Well just got home from work but ran into a guy in a 3 series that made the ride go by a little quicker. It wasn't the latest edition but like a early to mid 2000s model. I'm cruising along windows down because it's a nice brisk 80°, probably doing about 50-55 and this guy in the 3 series comes tearing up and past me. I have some open road so a goose it a bit to play catch up, then the guy starts acting like a complete ass and is cutting in/out through traffic ahead of me. I let off and return to cruising because it's fun to play when its me at risk but not when there is traffic.
So I cruise along with traffic, through a few intersections; people turn off and I end up behind Mr 3 Series at the light before the bridge I take home everyday. I can't get next to him because of a Ryder/Uhaul truck was there 1st and the other lane turns off in less than a 1/4 mile .
He sees me in the rear view and mashes it when the light turns green, leaving with a nice squeal. I of course oblige him as I know I have been asked to dual. We have about mile and half run before the bridge with no exits or turn ons, and then a little more than a 1/2-3/4 a mile to the hump in the center of the bridge. It is a safe fun spot to open it up and let the exhaust sing since you can see the the whole distance. Plus the Uhaul was left at the light so I had the lane all to myself.
I change lanes; goose it to get even with him, we are doing about 80 at this time. I get even, look over at him and see him looking over at me or the Merc w/his mouth open. I wave, punch it just leaving him behind, walking him by car lengths. By the time I let off at around 125-130 I was about 6-8 cars lengths ahead of him and still adding space. The bridge hump was coming up quick and you never know whats on the other side as far as traffic or cops go.
I slowed so I was doing about 70-75 (speed limit 55) by the time I hit the top where I could see over and decided if I wanted to hit again. I get to the hump but stay off the gas to see if he wants to play some more since I still see him coming. Once he saw I wasn't into the gas anymore he let off and stayed about 4-5 cars back until the intersection at the end of the bridge. He had the chance to get next to me but didn't. I even changed lanes at the next stop light but he stayed back by my rear doors and wouldn't pull up next to me. He pretty much stayed back for the next 2-3 lights until I turned off for coffee.
