That is cool... I like the things on the front to detonate IED's... At least I think that is what they are used for!

The Germans had a sale on Leopard 2's. Instead of ~7 million each, they were selling then for ~$200,000. So we bought a few hundred.

Can't pass up a bargain like that.

Ya, watching them replace the track pads in the end reminds me why I work on the wheeled vehicles. Had my share of pounding track, I'd rather not do that in Afganistan, bad enough changing tires. We didn't have the Leopards in theatre when i was over there a few years ago, the Lav III was the biggest fighting vehicle there. It still scared the crap out of the Taliban.

A girl who can read scares the crap out of the Taliban. But when the Van Doos, US Marines and British Ghurkas team up, well, that should be against the Geneva conventions.
