View Full Version : coolant, what is the most green

no not eco friendly, i mean green as in color. i usually use prestone coolant which is more yellow, im trying to find something more green so it looks better (getting ready for carlisle :D) .

OR, can i just add some sort of dye?

Food colouring.

Get yourself some of those neon-green windshield-wiper covers, too.

...and one of those big honkin' gold battery terminals with a built-in voltmeter and 1-farad capacitor...

haha i know it sounds a bit ricer, but i dont want it looking like someone peeded in my coolant tank

the new coolant that Ford uses in the 2010's is super green. I'm not sure about compatibility with may want to look into it.

Heh...I knew what you meant... :D

I know you can still buy the green stuff, but mine both came with the Motorcraft Premium Gold and I found a supply of Zerex G-05 so I've always used that.

I was serious about using food colouring, though...it's very concentrated so you'd only need a little and I can't imagine it would harm anything.

in one of the new 5.0 vids i saw, it has bright red koolaid color coolant, it looks like it tastes good

It's not koolaid don't drink it:lol:.The Lincoln MKS MKT and MKZ use this coolant that is a lot greener than the old stuff
