S O L D............................. ............
THANKS GUYS,
JIM
New XL Marauder Leather Jacket. Comes with Marauder garment bag. Never worn. Absolutely perfect! We took it out of the bag when we first got it to look at it. Today, I took it out to take pics. That's the only times it has been out. Non smoking enviroment. The pics do not do it justice (and I'm not a good photographer). I accept Paypal as I feel it is best for buyer and seller.
$200.00 Shipped to lower 48.
Thanks,
Jim

Whereabouts in Texas are you? I've been on the fence about getting one for a while, but if youre really close I may consider it even more.

Hey Mrblugruv,
Why not let me ship it to you? By using Paypal, we are both protected.
Just a thought.
Thanks,
Jim

I would have been super interested but they just announced that my office is closing and most of us will be without a job. So I'm saving my money now to supplement my unemployment checks. :(

Sorry to hear. Saving up for supplement is a great move. Cleaning out the garage and ebaying (or craigslist) for supplemental income helps too. I've been out almost a year now.

They have given us a few months notice. Its kind of hard to want to work from now until then however. Hopefully I will find something quick. If we stay until the last day, they are giving us a decent severence and stuff like that which would help. And I also kept and maxed out on my vacation which will also help (and people thought I was crazy). And with Unemployment Insurance plus my savings, I'm hoping that gives me just enough time to find another good job. Unfortunately, I still will have my rent for my apartment plus a car payment (Marauder) during this time. And I got to eat. I cancelled the Comcast cable yesterday and dropped my comprehensive and collision while increasing my deductible to reduce my car insurance bill. Trying to figure out what else I can cut to save money to last longer.

I guess I could also borrow from my 401 K and my 403 B (or whatever the non-profit version of the 401 K is). There isn't a lot there but I could do that but I would have to either pay it back with interest or be taxed on it as an early disbursement. I thought about ebay but not sure what old toys from growing up would be valuable or that people would want to buy. Guess being a pack rat can help me now? he he. Most of that stuff is at my parents house back in the Midwest but I'm sure my mom would dig it up for me if I needed to post them on ebay. How do you pay taxes on the money you make selling on ebay?

And I guess I could sell one of my two cars but I'm not planning on that yet.

There are lots of little things you can do to reduce expenses. Fortunately you don't have a house payment. Makes it easier to relocate if you find a job that you need to move for.

NO. Don't touch those retirement accounts. If you borrow against them, you have to pay it all back at the time of termination. Taxes?

Once I run out of most of my money, I'd be heading back to my parents in Indiana. I know I should be optimistic but I guess I'm more of a chicken little type, lol.

Isn't there some type of use tax or something like that for making money on ebay also?

If you have a yard sale do you report the proceeds as income and pay taxes on it?

How did I miss this thread moving on after I posted?
Anyways, Jakdad I have a girlfriend that's spending the summer in Houston (her home) and at some point moving to La Grange for the summer for a temp job. It wouldn't be too bad for me to swing by on my trip out that way I don't think. I can't make any promises on the buy yet though, sorry. :( Good luck with a buyer in the mean time though.

Hi Mr.,
That sounds good. My son lives in La Grange. If you buy it, I can send it there with him and save you a trip. La Grange is not to far from Katy. He works here and stays with us 2 or 3 nights a week. He goes home in between. We are about 30 miles West of downtown Houston, much less from the West side.
Thanks,
Jim
