I have a question for you Boston area folks. What is the Lexington area like? I was out there Tuesday and Wednesday for an interview at MIT Lincoln Labs, and might be moving out that way.

It was quite nice from what I recall when I used to hang out around those parts. It's also quite historic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexington,_Massachusetts).
In/from East of Boston here, aka Woostah(the land of no ah's).

hey wags, this is a tremendous spot, i hail from 2 towns over, born and raised. Lexington itself and some surrounding towns are very expensive, but other towns real close are considerably less so (I am in one of these, hahhaha). Literally 25-30 minutes from downtown Boston, you would have the best of both worlds as nice town feel and access to everything Boston has to offer.

Disclaimer.... this is in the 128 belt that if you need to run during morning or night commute time, you are TOAST........ Choose house location very carefully to avoid this NIGHTMARE.... If you do this, you will love this spot....
