Are all these good things I read about tunes worth voiding the $1300 aftermatket warranty I paid for last March but only used once

A tune will not void your warranty.
Most dealers wouldn't know if your MM had a factory tune or an aftermarket tune.

I have had the Ford ESP for several years and used it a few times. Usually, I put the stock tune back in for a trip to the dealer. Just in case they decide to "update" the computer for whatever reason - I don't lose my tune.

LOL....yep, most dealers don't know how to properly rotate a Marauder's tires.
You can always "pull the tune" and return the car to OEM tune before going in for service.

+1, I have even gotten lazy enough that I leave the tune in and actually tell the dealer to not do anything with the computer without telling me, and they said it's fine. Keep the tuner in the car though, because if you ahve a breakdown and they have to tow you, at that point you will want to put the OEM tune back in
