On the eaton conversion why are some people using two belt lengh 99.5" or 99.5/8 ?

this is the Gatorback that i used. Works out perfect but there is tensioner space to go a bit smaller if you want

well...to each its own. the 995 works just fine for me with plenty of tension left in the tensioner. my belt is not loose and has never slipped, so either one will work

either will work Kurt, the 99.5 is the smallest you can use though

When I looked at your car, the belt tensioner had no more travel left. Essentially it was on its stop.
