I saw an annoying ricer this am. Car was lowerd and looked modded. Grunting around in traffic. Got behind him. Then I got in the left lane and then I was in front.

Guy in front was going speed limit but was in left lane. <ugg> Right was clear for 6 lengths in front so I did a quick pass around and got back in the left lane.

Ricer made the same manuver with a lot more drama and passed the guy like I did, aggressively now riding my bumper. We are both back in the left lane. Then guy in front of me moves over. ALL CLEAR.

I jammed down hard, and held it there. Pretty sure I was WOT for the 2-3 shift. After about 75-80 the white Mitsu car who was desperately trying to keep up was fading fast. I red lined the MM in 3rd. Not sure how fast that is with 3.73's -- didn't look down. Ricer was 20-30 lengths back. Let off and got over for my onramp - he was also going that way but couldn't follow as now he was stuck behind 3-4 cars in that lane.

Owned.

Sorry to tell you but you should prob revise the title, not an Evo at all, or he didn't bother chasing. Cuz if it had been an Evo, even stock, it would have beat you like a drum.

Very true, sorry even stock them things can FLY. You can nail them off the line (actually quite easy) in most cases because they need to rev to around 4000 RPM to avoid a bog and spool up. My car eats them up EVERY time I have left a light, but the little cars seem to catch right up at 50. And on the freeway they are dead even depending on when I hit it, sometimes them, sometimes me becomes the victor. I'd love to get one as a work car to thrash.

Sounds like it was just a Lancer cause a real Lancer Evo would of ate you alive even in stock form. It runs low 13's stock in the 1/4 with a good driver than knows how to launch it.

Buddy of mine has one, and that little bastard is quick! His is very slightly modded, putting 317 to the wheels.

Yeah, its was a Mitsu - with a turbo - *not* an Evo, it was white. It must have been a turbo with mods as it seemed scrappy. 4-5 years old I think

Did not have the rear wing on it. I'll get a photo next time.. ;)

As a matter of fact....
I put a holeshot deluxe on this guy and his EVO....
I'm sure he thought that he would run me down, but the 'black taxi' went through the traps at almost 105 mph.
EVO's a quick little car and he had a better ET, but the race includes reaction time and 60 ft times!

He came over after we raced and wanted to know what was under the hood...just an N/A motor....;)

I need to start marking up my slips too with what the other vehicle was at the top.

I remember all the cars I've raced in the MM at the track, if I miss one I just look in my video archive. lol
