New balljoints, upper & lower, left side, front sway bar links (MOOG, greasable), new battery. Came to way, way more than I expected.
Take a guess how much. :o

Came to way, way more than I expected. It usually works that way. :D
Take a guess how much. Who did the service? Ford dealer or private shop?

Geesh - Ray makes a post then Disappears!
I'm guessing closer to $1000.00 -- parts labor and tax
Balljoints are a lot of labor. What battery did you get. I need a new one soon.

$800 was the total. The MOOG sway bar links were $187  I have to say they are much better constructed than the original OEM, but I did not expect that price...

Moog suspension parts ARE very expensive, but are supposed to be the best.
I just had 2 new idler arms put on my work van ('01 GMC Safari AWD) and the list was $239...EACH...
Also needed a lower ball joint and the total, with alignment and a state inspection sticker, came to $951. :shake: Sure am glad it was the company's dime...this is why I do all my own work on my cars.

Not much choice kid. The handling was going south and I had already put having this done off a year. The DTR now handles very much like our LS8, which is to say great! As far as seeing the parts, well if you want to crawl under there :D I did have Britty polish the upper ball joint.
RF is correct on both counts on the MOOG links. However, these will never have to be replaced and are greaseable. I was amazed at the difference between them and the OEM. The MOOGs are way stronger. Worth the money IMHO. The parts for this job came to over $500. Seeing your post RF makes me feel better, thanks!
See yall at Carlisle Friday afternoon.
