5. You can't trade in you late model wife on an '04 MM but you can trade in your '03 Marauder.

4. Dealer will let you keep your full-size spare and your trunk organizer. Let the guy who buys your '03 have the mini spare.

Good point, but the paint on my '03 was pretty good; however, I have to say the paint job on the DTR '04 is FLAWLESS. I must have spent at least 5 hours in the last two days staring at the paint from all angles.

2003/4Marauder - The light flint interior was available on the 300B. I also believe the mini spare has something to do with the Traction Control

Not really true here. The '04 4R75W is heavy duty yes, but not much more heavy duty than our '03 4R70W.

Better assembly line supervision for one.
Improved intermediate clutch pack c-clips for two.
Some light valve body mods for three...

Maybe it's a better tranny, but all things considered, it's no better than the '03 4R70W tranny. Why? Because us '03 4R70W tranny owners KNOW what is going to break, when it can break, why it broke, and how to fix it.

'04 4R75W owners do not, and that's not any improvement...IMHO.

This is possible, John, but looking back through our year of "first year production," I must also consider that our "space saver spare" issue grew from something else.

Our "space saver" was not included with the 300A model, simply because FMC/LM did not have a space saver spare that would fit our oversized front brakes.

Our Marauders have oversized brakes, K? Bigger than the Gran Marquis, and despite all the modding going on here, we often forget that a lot of our beloved MM was built...Well..."Odd."

Built from "parts on hand," and this must have something to do with us 300A owners getting a full size 18" wheeled spare tire, while our 300B owners got a "doughnut." Simply a matter of what was correct, and when it became available.

Sarge - I believe the Canadian Marauders which were all equipped with traction control had the mini spare form the start of production. Marty's non decontented 300B also has the mini spare.
