Well besides not being S/C. I would have to say The MM should have come with 4.10's and a 6speed would have been sweet too. And a better auto trany tune. Should have been in production at least another year then get the axe.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the tires. When there is only one manufacturer that makes the original tire sizes and the car is raked (different tire sizes on the front and back) so that if you go to another tire size you have to get them within a specific range of height or the ABS & Traction control have a freaking coniption!!!!!:mad2:

You know that Armorall comercial about the guy with the vet just standing outside of the car staring @ it? I get the same uforia and tend to do it as well especialy watching all of the people @ car shows checking her out!

The tires are a pain in the ass to find replacement, then if you go to another size you have to refigure all this parameters. MM is just like a woman not perfect but you can make it work with constant modifications and attitudes ajustments.

Wish it had better steering wheel adjustments such as the kind you would find on imports where you can adjust the wheel to any position unlike ours. And a telescopic steering wheel would be nice too. Standard heated seats would have been nice.

No stones, please, but there was nothing major wrong with the car.

It was the high expectations that Ford set by calling it a musclecar right out of the showroom. Most road tests concurred that the car, for it's weight and size, was quick, but not true musclecar status, which is the main reason why I didn't buy one.

Yes, to your credit, many of you folks have made the car true to it's advertising, but that's not the way it was supposed to be.

But, I still give Marauders a second look every time I see one on the road.

And my marauder sees triple digits all the time!

My max was 160mph without any problems.

I agree with the sunroof (moonroof) however the marauder seats are the some of the best FOMOCO had put it a production car in a long time.

I am a real big guy and the seats are just great on a long trip.

That's an awful lot extra. I had the same problem, but my mechanic basically only added the cost of parts, which was I think around 80-90 per axle?, to do the swap. Of course, my mechanic could have also just been giving me the hook-up. :D

On several occassions, I have been hit hard on the head or side of face when the drivers door comes back swinging at me or not opening all the way or whatever it does. Man that hurts like hell, but didn't take me long to learn a proper entry technique. The curvature of the door doesn't help either.
