You can see, the wheel for the explorer and for Crown Victoria are the same:

But when i mount a wheel at a Marauder, it is to wide:

whatīs the reason for this? has anybody the correct dimensions from the Crown axle and from the Marauder axle?

Yup, in 2003, the Panther's got a different wheel offset. If you're looking to get some steelies for winter use, you need to get 03+ ones.

BTW, do you hit the front calipers with those wheels?

no, it turns free, but itīs strong forbidden in Germany.

They are used. I'm looking for $100 plus shipping for a set of 4. Let me know.

I believe for 2003 and up they changed the design for handling (but I could be wrong).

I would say yes that the rear end on the '02 and under CV, GM, and TC is narrower.

Do the 2006+ 17" steel rims properly fit the Marauders?

the marauder wheels have a different offset. anything before 03 i think wont fit properly and will stick out. you need a newer set of steel rims for them to fit properly

In 2003, Ford's Panther chassis (Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Gran Marquis/Marauder, & Lincoln Town Car), had a re-design. The front end went to a die-cast aluminum front cross-member, with rack & pinion steering, and the rear axle had the shock absorbers moved "outboard". The wheel off-sets are the same as the 2003< Mustang, hence 2003< Panthers & Mustang wheels interchange. They have a flat (no dish) design.
