All I can say is I sold a Vortech Air to air Kit to a very famous Nascar engine building Company, I never have done a Town Car but I was confident my Kit I use on the CV would fit and it did, They had a SCT Dealer install it and tune it this week, my kit fit perfect except for the Radiator cooling reservoir had to replace the windshield washer reservoir that was in the install place, no Problem after the Local Lincoln dealer let me borrow a car, what I did was order the Marauder reservoir and pump, and install in in the drivers inner fender panel that worked perfect, the car stock made 184 RWHP om n*PS it made 340 RWHP the SCT Tech told me the car has dinky exhaust, and George Jr looked at the car and thought the CV Kooks would fit, but they took it as is after a Ford VIP drove the car and turned it over to the driver and no one knows who it is so far, so this was way cool for me.

Sweet! This was the kind of thing I always wanted to do with my old '88 Town Car.

This was a 08 fly by wire Town set up as a blow through, the kit was bought by a Nascar engine builder and it was almost the same as the Marauder kit, and I sold them a good OEM size dimpled gas slotted brake kit along with SS lines, they said the kit fit perfect except for the air box, because of a wiring bundle that was under the stock OEM air box, so they used a conical air cleaner, the car base power was 180 RWHP it left the SCT shop 360 RWHP, the installer told me the exhaust is dinky on this car JR looked at and felt for sure the 03 CV Kooks would fit but the Ford VIP wanted to get the car back to the Nascar driver as a surprise so after he looked the car over and test drove it, he left the shop, and delivered it, and we still do not know what driver got the car but I think it is pretty neat, I was able to make this happen with out even having the car here. If we had got Kooks on it I feel it would have made at least 30 more RWHP.

That's a cool story. I'm dying to find out the story behind this. Maybe somebody in the Town Car forums will speak up.

After weeks of waiting I got the pictures today, I have never sold a kit or installed one on a 08 Town car but it is basically a Crown Vic, the differences are that the Town car windshield washer reservoir sets right where the radiator, cooling reservoir goes, so what I did was buy a Marauder windshield reservoir and pump and sent it along with the kit and these guys did a great job, the A/C low pressure switch was another minor issue, but when done the car looks great, they never even told the owner they did the install, along with the S/C it got a break upgrade with SS lines, I could not be happier., Jr at Kooks tried to talk them into LTH I am sure the CV set would fit they did a 3:73 Posi as well.

They tried to go with a Eaton, but could not get it to clear the hood and Vortech sent them to me,

Town car windshield washer reservoir sets right where the radiator, cooling reservoir goes, so what I did was buy a Marauder windshield reservoir and pump and sent it along with the kit
:

The TC probably has a low fluid level indicator, the MM does not. The CV/GM with digital dash has a level sensor in the reservoir but is the same dimensions externally. So they may want to swap to that version reservoir...

Looks nice.

They installed this Brian it worked perfect. And we sold another kit today., we are having a huge party at the house for the Fourth and a charity benefit for the Max Baer Heart fund, I hope every one has a safe holiday.
