Can you clean the oil cooler?

Just about to head out and change the oil to RP and replace the oil cooler lines :burnout:

I was just wondering while I'm in there, is there a way to clean all the old oil and crud from the oil cooler?

Everyone says you cant but I had no trouble doing it to my Cobra.

How did you do it? Brake cleaner and a hose?
