A truly sad site to see. I am going to try to look into buying this thing and rebuild it. If there is any one close by who can look at it, PM me. I hate that some SOB took the darn wheels off it. And, does anyone here think it can be fixed?

Wow. Anything can be fixed for a price and I sure hope the one can be saved. I would guess if the frame is ok then go for it for the sake of the MM. What a shame.

Airbags didn't deploy. At least that would lower the cost of rebuilding. I hear those bastards are expensive.

Man that's sad to see. Looks like the interior is still mint though!

I noticed that also...that was a pretty hard hit for them to not deploy...:hmmm:

Ouch. :depress:

Hopefully it's just the camera angle, but the second pic (of the driver's side) makes it look like the frame's bent.

I can use a new project and if you need a place to put it, you got it.

It would be easier to take the vin plates and put them on a black painted blue. Looks like the drivers side a pillar is bent but a close up would tell.

^I hope you are kidding about swapping vins. Also why would you want to make a black car into a jellybean marauder?

I'm just illustrating that that car is toast!

There''s 4k worth of parts needed alone not including the wheels. Hood, fenders, header pannel, grill, bumper, bumper cover, bumper inset, headlight, marker light, inner fender liner, battery tray, fuse pannel, rear bumper cover, windshield, and a bunch of ac and engine parts. The hood also may have damaged the windshield wiper mechanism and housing too. Then add bodywork and paint. I'd say you would be in it for 7k plus the cost of the car if you did most of the labor and used knock off rims.

What happened to the original MM rims? Did he keep them or did the auto auction people switch them out?

I was in contact with him and from what I could understand he did'nt take anything. My guess, the auction people.

All those parts could be switched out from another smashed up MM. I was looking at that last night but, the hard thing about it is getting a donor car and getting them both in one spot to make the switch out. Now thats the challenge and the money end of it.
