My Marauder has been transformed into to the Trilogy #8 car. I just got it shipped back from Lidio yesterday (11-23). The car is a monster and I'm ready to take it to the track before the end of the season.

Acto schedule shows Grudge Racing / Test & Tune on,
Tuesday 11/25 Starting @ 4:30pm
Friday 11/28 Starting @ 4:30pm
Saturady 11/29 Starting @ 10:00am

I plan on making to all these dates but it sure would be awsome if I get a few of you to come along with me.

Please let know if any of you can make it. Saturaday the 29th sounds best for a GTG.

Hope to here from you.

P.S. I going for the Title of fastest Marauder

Sounds great to me, I hate being the only land barge at the track. Not sure if I'll be there Tuesday, it's a long hike from work and the traffic is murder.

Then again, I'd go every day just to see that beautiful woman handing out the time slips again. :D

Thanks everyone.

Stumpy I met you @ Raceway Park. I had my wife's Volvo V70R.

Bunny, I asked Lidio about what kind of motor oil I should use. He suggested Hot Bacon Dressing. Shounds like a winner to me.

Todd is it true you Marty are moving to Massachusetts and getting married?

ps The latest pictures Jerry & Lidio posted of the new Triolgy setup are my car.

Sounds like Friday will be the night for me. I have some late night work Tuesday and I plan on running the vette on Saturday. This should be a good night for the Grocery getters, we should pound some rice and lasso a few ponies with these big beasts!

Jet, you gonna take off the belt to run against my stocker? Hehe, j/k. :D

I might make it Friday night but the weather says it's gona be cold. Don't forget, Atco is in the middle of the Pine Barrons and is always 10 degrees colder. I think you will freeze your butt off and not hook. Just my .02. RAY

Hi all, It's friday night & weather sucks. I didn't go to the track tonight but I plan to be there all day on Saturday. Hope some of you can make it.

The weather for Saturday is supposed to sunny & cold. That is fine with me as long it doesn't rain .

Track opens at 10am. I'm not sure when I'll get there but it will either be around them or a latest before noon. I plan on doing time runs. I don't feel safe racing for real with street tires on so I'm not worried about getting there so early.

If anyone needs to reach me please feel free to call me.

best
john

It was too windy and they only ran 1/8 mile so it was a kind of a flop. Best part was the company, I had a great time anyway!

TheDealer

I figured that would happen when I saw how windy it was today.

Stumpy smoked me with tricked Impala SS. You've got one bad beast there buddy. We went head head several times & the STUMPSTER kick my but each & every time. However both took turns racing a moded Camero/Firebird? and both beat up on him. So atleast I won a few races. I aslo toasted a Mustang GT.

The wind was insane. Unless you were sitting in your car you were cold. If you closed you eyes well sitting in the stands it felt like you were at Lambau Field in Wissconson. Cold Cold Cold.

But it was still pretty.

Way to go Stumpy nice car pal.

Thanks for letting me drive the MM, it was my first ever ride in one and I can see why you love em. They are much more swank on the inside than the stock Impalas. I felt like I cheapened it by not wearing my leather and sunglasses.

Now get some traction and the roles will be reversed I assure you. Remember, for drag racing you want a wide patch with plenty of sidewall. I really think those tall low profile tires and wheels are hurting you!

Have you guys thought of trying mustang rims (for drag racing only), or mustang knock offs that are much wider but smaller diameter? I did a bit of checking and the bolt pattern of the Maurader is 5 x 4.5". That's the same as most Ford and Mercury big cars as well as the Mustangs. Although most of the big cars ride on 7" rims, the Mustang rims get as large as 9.5x16 and 11x17 and are easy to find. A good set of drag slicks on 16" rims is all the rage with the mustang croud for a reason. Based upon what I saw yesterday, you look to have plenty of room between the rim and the caliper so all you need to do is get the right back spacing. If you know someone that races a late model Mustang, see if you can try their wheels to see if they fit.
