Remember to tell them to be careful when then clean it up for you. I told my dealer not to wax it, that I will do that myself. The first thing I did when I got my Marauder home was washed it with Dawn and then clayed bar the whole carand washed it again. The next day I started applying Zaino to the car. I work on cleaning and polshing the car the whole weekend.

Yea, the dealer put about 12 seperate buffer-burn marks in my car. They managed to do that in the period of about 15 minutes.

I told them to check the oil and I'd do the rest......They seemed satisfied with that!!:D :D

I didn't think you were supposed to wax clear coat paints for a couple of months??

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!:) :D

You are correct sir. I believe it's 3-4months for clear coats to cure.

38 miles so far and it really is nice!!!:)

The "two tone" interior you get when ordering "Light Flint" is cool!! Doors, dash, steering wheel, console, and carpet are dark grey (almost black).....seats and headliner are light grey!! It looks GREAT!!! :D

Can't wipe the :D off my face!! And this is just the beginning!!:coolman:

Dupont reccomends 120 days before wax, you can use Meguiars #7, sealer/resealer. It's 100% paint compatible. It offers some pretection by sealing some of the paint pores.

I actually never waxed my 2000 silver CV and it looked like new for almost 4 years!!:D

Todays paints (when applied right) are phenominal!! ;)

A dark colored car will always look better with wax if you can do it without swirl marks.....Part of the reason I go with light colors!!?? This is the 4th silver CV/MM I have owned and I would have gotten a 2003 MM if they had offered silver??

The sun's coming up.....GOTTA GO CHECK ON MY NEW MACHINE!!!!!:) :D

Hey Cobra err I mean Marauderjack, congradulations as your vehicle has arrived before mine. I am starting to wonder where in the hell mine went as it's 2 weeks late arriving at the dealership, and now they are doing a trace because they have no idea what happened to it. They have gotten the regional Ford rep on this, and now the Ford rep up at headquarters as a result. They said they are now uncertain what happened to my vehicle which is odd, because you just don't lose track of a $35k car!

Maybe that's why the car makers are losing $$$$$'s??!!

If a car disappears every week the losses would mount!!!:(

Hope they get you fixed up soon!!

Only 90 "smiles" so far but mine really is nice!!!:D

Here's a pic!!:)

MarauderJack, car looks good. Tint the windows and put a spoiler on the back and you will be set.

That photo looks really good, and is the fact that my vehicle is lost somewhere in the transport process is torturing me even more after seeing that picture! My vehicle is now over 2 weeks late arriving after a date that was garenteed to me!

Logan, you could always use two Marauders. I'm not joking as one could be your full out no-compromise race car, or drag strip queen, while the other maintains itself as your daily driver! You would have the best of both worlds!

Howdy and welcome to the brotherhood.

Everyone at Ennis really liked the color of my Silver Birch Marauder.

Can't argue with 'em.
