I believe the main difference is that the stock arms are one layer of metal that is pretty weak and flexible under hard launches, and the bushings eventually dry out and crack.

The sparta arms are rectangular steel with delrin/poly bushings, and the metco's are billet aluminum with poly bushings. Both of them when compared to stock are better by leaps and bounds.

From what everyone who has the sparta/metco/heinous arms says, they keep the car firmly planted during launches, reduce wheel hop, and some say they make the car handle better overall whether in a straight line or cornering. Should make for a more solid ride

Tubular steel with press fit ends, retaining the stock bushings.

The ends on our control arms wrap the entire bushing, not 1/4" like the stockers. I would have to agree with Fordnut and say these CA's are the best option ever made for the Marauder.

... retaining the stock bushings.
Which is one of the best features. The OEM bushings absorb shock instead of transferring it directly to the frame. Last longer too. And don't make noise. Don't need lubrication.

With or without pinion angle; first or second run of CAs?

I have to correct you on this one. The stock bushin is the best fit for our heavy cars. I have handled alot of stock bushins and have yet to see one dried out or cracked. The other bushins (Metco's) have been proven to fail. There too stiff and have constantly cracked.

If new, opt for the Lincoln limousine upper control arms ...

Whats the deal with these, did someone buy them? I offered up immediate payment and I wasn't kidding, I have paypal and will send asap. I also prefer rubber bushings. I have run delrin and poly CA bushings on cars before and they tend to bind and make noise if they are not cleaned and lubed constantly.

Shhhhhh!!! You don't want to start that debate again...

Ha it's not a debate, I have delrin CA bushings and also some poly parts on my Taurus. I absolutely hate them but there are so few parts available for that car for performance use, that I don't have much choice. All the green synthetic grease I have to apply to those joints attracts sand, which then wears the bushings out fast. Exotic bushings on a street car is not something I would ever recommend unless its a sunday-only, never driven in anything other than sunny weather, type car.

Anytime something is as cheap as these, I always offer at least 50% more than the asking price to be sure I get them.

FYI I did not get them. These suckers are worth every bit of $300

those limo uppers are badass!

jbo, those are like 10x beefyer then the stockers. too bad there isnt a lower

Stranger in the Black Sedan

Those have gotta be a ton more rigid than stock, look at how they are made vs paper thin stamped steel shells that only support the bushing over a very thin section. I wonder if Ray the Dealer can get us these things?

musclemerc

Definately not just for bling. They are alot stronger than the stock uppers and they still use the rubber bushin. Excellent choice!

I have the Henious control arms set. Energy Suspension graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings installed for long term noise-free service. No grease fittings needed
