I was in downtown Chicago dropping off the girlfriend on the right side of the road. I was trying to make a left to get back with the flow of traffic. I saw just one little spot open, but I had to give it 1/3 throttle to get the car in before the gap closed. Well I got it in just in time before a Ponitac hit me.

I then got back into the right lane to make a right hand turn and he pulled next to me rolling his window down. I was ready to say I was sorry, but he actually had something else to say. "I like the way that sounds! What's done to that?" "Headers and high flow cats. Sorry I had get on the road like that." "Naa no problem. I just bought one of those too. I have a 98 with a 4.6 engine." "No this is different it's a Marauder. Same engine as a Mustang Mach I." "Oh." "Yeah same size, but a few things different. I wish I could tell you."

Just then the light turned green, I have it a little rev and the dude smiled as we parted ways.

This car is so worth the short dependability.

This brings to mind from last night when I was watching PeeWee's Big Adventure and Peewee is asking for the fat kid Francis at the door to the butler and the butler says that Francis is taking his bath and Peewee says "Oh yeah? Where they hosing him down?!?!?"

I don't know why, but I lose it every time I hear that line!:lol:
