It has a Tru X perforated core. (Muffled X Pipe) Gonna get stainless 2.25 pipes made from factory cat flanges to this to and then to my new 2.25 dynomax super turbos. Mid pipes will be done...

All I'm saying is that its going to be quiet. I have the shorter 18" super turbo's with 2nd cat delete and its quiet as it is. I can only imagine how much more quiet it will be with an X-muffler.
i'm sure his setup will perform excellent
babbage-
Let us know how you like it once it's installed. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on LT headers, but am anxious about the added exhaust volume----I don't want it to sound like a racer and think this will tame the tone sufficiently.

yeah I want it quiet, however it should flow a lot better. Plan is to do this first then get SW long tubes next year or at some point.
I do not like drone, at WOT Im sure Ill still hear it.

I like your idea, let me know how it goes. I think the stock volume level of the Marauder is PERFECT, I wouldn't want it any louder, but I did see pics when someone cut the Marauder muffler open showing it is just a crown vic 3 pass tube POS inside. Also having only 2" pinch bent mid pipe on this car has got to be hurting it somewhat.

Nice I was looking at this also awhile back. I think a couple of members have done something similar. IIRC they said w/headers it was nice and mellow at idle/light cruising but still had a good sound when they got on the gas. Definitely will help your motor breath better than stock.
Post a sound clip or video once you get it together.
