With a tear in my eye I just saw my marauder drive away. It was with mixed emotions. With 140,000 miles, I wanted to sell it while it still had some value. I would have worn it out in a few more years, but I have loved that car. I've had the privilage of meeting many of you over the years by attending marauderville 2 { the first indy } and the first two kentucky regionals. Good friends and good times. I got 8,000 for an 03 with 140,000. Put it in the front yard with a sign and sold it in 4 days ! I will check in from time to time just to see how many of you long timers are still here ! Have given the new owner a card for the site. Hope he gets as much enjoyment out of the as I have. Tim

Tim - so good to hear from you! We've missed you at our meets. You are always welcome here and at any of our meets!! Marauders are not a requirement, as you know. I hope all is well. We went to Makers Mark in April and Bob and Ken were remembering your trip there a few years prior.

Sorry to hear Tim. You could always replace it with another Marauder.

Like Mary said you don't need a Marauder to attend a meet so hope you join us again sometime. Take care.

Mine will be going up for sale at the Summer Nationals carshow in Worcester MA this year. I would LOVE to get 8k for mine!!! I have too much debt and would like to get rid of the marauder and get something a little more practical. I have 107k on mine.

Sorry to see that you sold yours, but it seems you got an awesome price on it!

Stop spending all your money on your GF and keep the Marauder, dummy! You don't need a mc either! Motorcycles are a dime a dozen, not so a marauder.

If I can get more than it is worth for it from some dummy at a carshow, it is GONE! I spend very little on my girlfriend because she is an independent woman and doesn't like me spending money on her. As for the motorcycle, I am in love with that thing and it gets 10x the looks and compliments that the marauder gets... and I have only had it for 3 days!!!

What your'e saying reminds me of when the parents are talking in a Peanuts cartoon...Blah blah blah blah, etc.
Have your GF pay for you then...problem solved.:P

If he sell the Marauder maybe he will leave us alone and the mc has already lost half its value.

It isn't about value! It is about what makes me happy... Always worrying about my marauder is not making me happy. With the rust, and dents, and 107k on it, I always have the fear of it stranding me somewhere in the back of my mind. I don't know. We will see what happens at the car show! I am starting at 9k. If I can't get what I owe on it, I am keeping it.

I should have added J/K to my post....You should know my joking by now.

Besides I would need to find someone else to pick on. Remember to reread your quoted posts. ;)
