I want my marauder to be just a hair louder, maybe a little more noticable at idle. I want to remove the second set of cats. Will this set off a problem code? Also, anybody that has done this have anyfeedback? Worth it?

No, this is the way i have mine.... and it is quiet at 65MPH also... so not a big "noise creater" but with the rear cats on, its realtively quiet, as you may know.
Put the Flowmasters in, and removed rear cats... Tune from Reinhart, and JLT Intake... and the car is a STALLION!

I JUST got my exhaust done. I had just had res delete tips at first. I had my second set of cats taken out and at2525 mufflers installed and it is WICKED loud halfthrottle acceleration but it's weird because it's near silent at idle. Under acceleration it sounds amazing though. No codes to worry about though

If your only looking to gain NOISE then deleting cats is the way to go about doing exactly that however if you want to gain a few extra HP's then save your money and do a complete 2.5" downpipe swap with some high flow cats. There's nothing worse than a LOUD SLOW car.

Every state inspection is different. A vehicles with deleted primary or secondary cats could show a code depending on the state laws. If a visual is done it could also fail. One way to get around this is to buy two MIL elimiinators they will satisfy the down stream O2.
If you want it a little louder plus performance plus no inspection problems remove and add four high flow cats by Magna flow or Stainless Works metal Matrix cats.

Just had SS headers with hi flow cats and megs delete tips put on and my Marauder and it sounds sounds purrrrfect! I like the sound with the stock H pipe and mufflers. It has a nice tone at idle and sounds great when you step into it, but no drone on the freeway. Ther are some good clips on Stainless Works web site.

Sorry but, why spend the cash on LT's and still run them through a 1-7/8" H pipe? It does'nt make sense. Would'nt that defeat the purpose of installing the LT's in the first place?

I must say its a work in progress. Couldn't afford the complete SS system right now and wasn't sure about the X vs H or mufflers. I really like the sound now.
