Today I stopped and got lunch in this little town called Cortland which is about 4mi west of Seymour, IN and has a population of probably less than 200. Anyway, after I got my lunch at the Grocery and Diner and was getting ready to continue on my way down Hwy 258, I noticed a guy in the diner parking lot kept looking over at my car. He eventually motioned me to roll down my window.
The guy asked me if I'd ever had the car modified so I explained to him that all I'd done was a JLT air intake. He then went on to say that his brother or cousin (I can't recall which) lived in FL and did a lot of work on "beefing them up" as he put it and that he usually came up to visit Seymour during the Oktoberfest. He said the guy's name was Dennis Reinhart and asked if I'd ever heard of him!
Being a member of this forum, I think it's impossible not to have heard the name and we talked for a minute about this and that, then I was on my way but not before he said what a great job I'd done keeping the car looking sharp!
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know. Cool Story Bro. I just found it odd to have a conversation like this in such an unlikely place as a small diner next to a grain elevator and figured I'd share.
