It was about 100 degrees but not so bad in the shade. Attending were Gary (Rumble), James (James79stang), Pat (Pat!!) and Jim (Vortex). Nice show with lots of expensive imported stuff, a couple of Gullwing Mercs, Mangustas, Miuras and old classic American cars. Oh the young fellows in the photos are Pats grandson Ian and my nephew Daniel (who was there with his Dad showing his 1968 Yarlborough Cyclone).

Gary/Pat/James; My brother in law just told me on the phone one of you guys won a prize for our class (it wasnt me). Dont know if it was a trophy or a plaque but you could contact Tom Stumph and ask if you were interested in picking it up.
Thanks for the pic's Jim. Ian had a good time. He slept from the time we left the restaurant, 2:30, till 5:30 . That little man was up at 5 AM this morning helping his Papaw load up for the drive to Dallas. He asked how come everybody had the same breakfast at Le Madeline's. I told him cause it was the least expensive, LOL.
Good to see you guy's again. Temps on the car coming home were bouncing between 100 and 101 till after 6 PM.
We saw a black MM coming back to Louisiana just east of Lindale, Texas on I-20. I was hemmed in with traffic, I don't think he saw me. Looked like it had been traveling for a while, no distinguishing badges or markings. I was on the wrong side to see the gas door when he passed by.
James checked in, he's home OK, hot ride, no air.
Regards,
Pat

Looks like fun but man I heard it was HOT that day. My buddy said he went, took some pics but didn't see the MM crew.
Looks like you had a much better spot than we did last year! Hope to see you all soon.

Hey there Dave! It was hot and we all left early (around 2:30) at the same time so thats why we got missed by the official photographer and your buddy too. We had a much better spot and hopefully we can do it again next year too. Re missing it, sounds like you had a good excuse and hope the wife is doing better now. Any chance of you attending Mauraderville in Charlotte? (I know you are a family man but figured I ask anyway.)

Cool pics! But as much as a Black Marauder's sin's get hidden under the shade of a tree not too shure I would want one to be under them!

James:
Gary Butler won 1st place for post-1980 U.S. cars. The prize was dinner for
two at the Colonnade Restaurant.
The week after the show, I made arrangements to get him his prize
certificate.

The only change to my blue is I'm running Nitto's all the way around, 295's out back on my widened rears....thanks to Gary (I liked the way his looked with that flat sidewall compared to my F1's with a slight bulge).
HUGE HIGH FIVE to Gary, much deserved WIN for a fine example of our cars and from a fine institution too!
