All I have ever done to maintain the suspension is change my shocks, springs and had a few alignments done.

I am sure I am missing something.

Do I need to change anything else?

I am not sure another alignment will fix my shaky steering wheel.

Have you had your front end checked?

The key things I would replace ( if everything major in your front end is still ok) would just be the swaybar endlinks and bushings front and rear.

My front swaybar will actually wiggle about 1 1/2 inches if you pull on it side to side. I need new endlinks but am too lazy and pissed off at how bad the power to weight ratio is in my car to justify spending any more money on it.

more miles? Yes. Pretty sure Paul T Casey has over 200k.

My suggestion would be to start replacing bushings.

Yea I used to drive a lot more when I was younger, like 30-40K miles a year when IO was a teenager especially.

Bushing eh? Alright.

Thanks guys.

BTW 161K isn't the highest here, I remember seeing a wrecked one with 214K like 2 years ago.

Yep, Paul T Casey has well over 200K and is still cruising along fine!
Plus a fair percentage of that mileage was accumulated in 1/4 mile increments...:bows:

When will you hail down to me?

I do the same stuff. When I get to 200K will I earn your respect then?

but Paul doesn't start 5 new threads a day about any problems that he has with his Marauder.....and other cars for that matter...

If you get to 200,000 miles, with what you do to your Marauder....heck ya!

i just recently checked my ball joints, tie rod ends, and sway bar links and everything was tight, no slop. that shocked me considering it has 126,000 and i drive it hard. im pretty sure no front end work was ever done all orginal equip! when should i be expecting front end work?
