I am having the hardest time finding some hood hinges. Somebody has to know where i can get some from. I google MM hood hinges and came across this one sight autopartswarehouse and after waiting 2 weeks i get a call today saying they only have the left side hinge in stock. I dont know where else to look, I do not want to pay $40 each at the dealership. Somebody Please help so i can get my MM back on the road. I will even buy some used hinges from someone as long as they are not bent. Please help. The pep boys by my house do not carry them.

Dropped a few hints with the guys at Redline at Carlisle about making hinges for the MM,CV and GM in Chrome. Not going to hold my breathe but you never know. Maybe if we e-mail them enmass they will take the hint.

Why not get hinges from the salvage yard and get them chromed?

Wouldn't the Chroming process do something to the gas charge?

I'm pretty sure they are referring to the hinges that the hood swivels on and not the gas support shocks.

Correct.
Hinges are what the hood swings up & down on.
The gas struts are the hood supports.
