We always feel comfortable at Hampton Inns. See if they'll give us a better rate! And thanks for setting this up Mark. I actually tried to book for next year while we were there but they weren't taking reservations that far out. You might ask if they would set up our own personalized website for the block of rooms like Hampton Inn in Tilton, NH did for our meet there in May. Made reservations really easy.

Except for the power outage Thursday night due to the storm - great place.

I was able to get a $79 a night military rate. I booked this via hilton web site and not through the MM block of rooms. I also booked this about 8 or 9 months before the event.

We stayed there and were happy with the room and the free Breakfast in the A.m..

Nothing like comming out to a hot meal and coffee waiting to shake off the nights sleep.

Definatly liked making my own fresh hot waffle that coverd the plate basicly.

I stayed at the America's Best Inn, friendly staff and free coffee, that's bout it. No pool, no free breakfast, def gonna stay wherever the collective stays next time, NOW I know why Doom wasn't there :P

So far I haven't had a complaint at the Hotel Carlisle. My A/C in the room froze me out, my bed was fine, the shower had plenty of hot water, the price was right, and I had no issues finding a parking spot.
I guess I been lucky.

I'm locked in, non refundable, but how much was the room with the group rate? I ended up with a King Study, sofa sleeper, $331 for the two nights with tax. We are there come hell or me still wearing a turtle suit.

I originally had the King + sofa sleeper for 179.00 / night without taxes. I now have a 2-Queen deal (same style room) for 159.00 / night group rate.

So I saved a whopping $8 a night. Now thats a real deal :( I believe $159 was what I paid last year for a 2 queen bed room. Then my daughter decided not to come. This year I'm covered either way. Should have gotten the jaquzzi suite. :D

Hi people I talked with Jacqi today at the Hampton. There are six of us in the block of rooms that are set for the Marauder group, I know that there are more that are staying there. I have to go through the threads to see how many that are. So please call them and let them know you are with the Marauder group. Thank you... And lets have a blast this year!

My Mustang friends I went with last year already set up our rooms again. This time getting a room of my own seeing Francisco wants to come with me.

A friend is going to stay @ the house and watch Molly for us so will be there on Friday like last year and leave Sunday when it is done.

Got the rooms for $150.00 each through AAA @ the Hampton Inn. Just not part of the block of rooms you all have seeing I had to let someone else set them up for me. Sucks not having a credit card to use.

See you all there.

Thanks SMOKE and hwy73.

Already making plans to bring the boneless ribs again this year but seeing they did so well going to bring twice as much this time one soaked in the BBQ sauce I used last year and the other in an authentic Asian Restaurant Teriaki Sesame Sauce. Plus the soda and water like I brought last year.

Now we just need to make sure we have BBQ grills to use without running for them again LOL!!

2 Grills will be on hand for this event and they WON'T be raffled off! They will be the official grills of MM.net.

As we get closer we'll take inventory for food. This weekend or next week Ill secure the tables and tent for us. Then I'm working on what handouts and raffle items to bring. The 50/50 raffle returns and I think last year a member walked away with $180. Not bad for a $10 ticket. Ill try putting a banner out to advertise the raffle to everyone, maybe one lucky winner will walk away with $1K!
The trophies return with a non-marauder class added to the list. Some members show up with CVs, GMs, and some un-named vendor even shows up with a mustang so I'd like to include everyone in the award presentation.
A thread with all the details will be up soon.

Ill be at the hotel Carlisle once again. I havent had a issue with it yet and $110 a night is still a pretty good deal.

They have a whole lot more cars than we do. The price of fuel and economy in general may be playing a role here this year. I know my wallet is already hurting from what its going to cost to drive to SC in July.
We'll still have a good time at Carlisle!

I was just shocked the yellow mustang club did not make the top 3.

But considering how many of our cars are left and how spread out they are in the states we make a great showing!
