This is hallowed ground we don't or should not take a photo op where people passed are resting. I'm not that religious but I find this in very POOR taste. Line up a chorus of Hooter girls instead.

Hmm, I like this idea. I may have to do some Hi-Res shots of this.
Here's an oddball question: Did you paint your calipers or did you swap out for different ones that happened to be red? If you did paint them, what process did you use when doing that?
Thanks, and great shots!

You can buy a caliper paint kit at your local auto parts store. It comes with brake cleaner, masking tape, brush and the high temp paint. I did it to mine.

JYup I just used caliper paint, but I used a whole can for the 4 calipers. And I don't mind if you take the pic, but once blown up it wont look that good because I took the pics with my cell phone.. I cut through the graveyard and it kinda reminded me of a vampire movie and I thought it could be a cool shot.. like something the grim reaper would drive lol. And for the process. I used masking tape and news paper to keep the paint off of the rotor and brake lines and such. Wipe the calipers clean and soaked them till they were dripping. Let the coat dry mean while start another caliper in total I have about 5 coats per caliper. Enough that the paint filled in the rough surface of the caliper and gave it a smooth glossy surface. Like I said I used the whole can.

Got a few at the Beechmount Cemetary, right near the Municipal Airport. Another large military element, many Aussies and Brits from 1913 to present day here. Plenty of too young men from WWI, WWII and Korea. I had no idea there were this many military cemeteries in Edmonton.

They aren't resting. They're dead and couldn't give a rats ass if you are taking pictures.

It's a guideline for composing photographs. You break the scene up into a 3x3 grid and put the important stuff along the lines of the grid or at the intersections.
It generally makes a picture more appealing instead of putting your subject right in the center and producing a "snapshot" aka nothing better than an average picture.

That's kind of what I tried to do (without knowing the rule). Put the cenotaph, my MM and the flag at the intersections of those lines. My first try (second pic) missed the flag, but I liked the closer pic of the MM and cenotaph.
So, I need some practice is all.

The car looks like it's almost dead center in all of them. Also, the cenotaph is growing out of the car in all 3 pictures, which is a no-no in car photography.
Like I said in my first post, I like the pics! I'd go out and re-shoot with the proper composition.
