They are going to start linning us up on Race Street in the center of North Main @ Noon time and close down North Main Street for us all to display our cars.

$10.00 entrance fee for cars.
Participation judging for the car's like they did @ Carlisle.


Bristols 225th Anniversary Car Show
2pm - 8pm
Downtown Bristol, North Main St.
Trophies for top 50 Entries - Participant Judging
Cash Prizes for the Top 5

LMAO!!!

They backed out of the one they normaly have in Mid Spring that the Bristol Car Club puts on because the city it's self wanted to benifit more from it hence the reason they are doing this one.

I don't care either way about the reasons or the why's and how's I just like being in an event that is actualy a show instead of only a cruise night.

Friday I am going to the Torrington Cruise because they are doing a food drive as well. There was a time in my life when I had to go to a food bank for some help so I always try to give back when someone does a drive.

We had an awsome Day Saturday for the big Car show in Bristol.

According to Bill who was basicly in charge of the event the total count of show cars and trucks was 326.

The voting was a participation vote only and I won a top 50 Award and trophy in the car Show for the Marauder.

No one was around to take a picture of my recieveing the award but here is a picture I took of the Marauder and Fran took some today and I took a pic of the total awards to date with a good back ground for it.

Thanks I am trying my best.

@ least people are starting to notice her and recognize her @ events in the area now.

I hope the show board that Smoke is helping me with gets her more recognition and makes her more show worthy @ a lot of the events around the state that don't welcome newer cars very often or easily.

It's a lot harder having a newer car and getting accepted by most of the people that bring their older one's that took years of restoration work and tons of money to let you into the fold I am finding out.
