I was in the Local NAPA today and saw this stuff on the counter called Q-Bond. It was around 11 bucks. It claims to repair plastic and metal to stronger than new. Yeh right! Thats what they all say.. First its a cup, now its a mug.. LOL

Anyway, the guy in the store said it works great, he opened a kit and it had 4 containers of stuff in it, two tubes of crazy glue and two powders, one for metal, the other for plastic. Having forever been gluing Marauder plastics back together again, I was skeptical to say the least. Well, if figured I would get humped buying another snake oil product and shelve it if it didn't work.

Well ladies and gentleman, I tried this stuff and I nearly sharted when I did the first repair. You take the powder and sprinkle it on the broken piece, in my case the window switch bezel. Get it into the nooks and crannies and hold the other part on it and then hit it with the super glue. You will see a little puff of smoke, shart yourself and then voila, its repaired!! Holy ***** this stuff works!!

I then sprinkled a little more powder around it and hit it again with the glue to make it even stronger. Poof, shart, done.. I fixed every broken piece I could find. Poof, poof, poof, fixed, fixed, fixed..!!! Just watching this stuff work is better than repairing stuff with it. LOL

Anyway, don't get it on your fingers or you will have a console piece or window bezel attached to your hand for a week or so. Ask me how I know. I had to cut the part off of my finger with a razor blade. Ow!!

Anyway, try this stuff out, its the ****znit! www.qbond.net or Napa May have it. Make sure you have fresh underwear or don't eat for 12 hours before use.. Regards, Richy04!!

Their website says you can sand and paint it.

Gotcha... Might work nicely on my front bumper to fix the hole!

I have a chrome sport pedal I e been trying to get to stick, clamp or gorrilla glue to my gas pedal but it just won't stick due to the curved nature of or gas pedal and the sport pedal has a flat sure face back! Any advice as to how I can do something perhaps using this product to make it work? Brake pedal was a breeze... TIPS?

Try Velcro or the 3M plastic version of velcro, I think its called sure loc or something like that, you can get it in Radio Shack or a good Auto parts store.

Bend it.

Use a piece of 3" or 4" PVC pipe to assist with getting the desired curve.

Dear Ladies and gentlemen,

I have received several nasty emails regarding this product and I in good conscience can no longer endorse it. It appears that some of you had followed my advice and purchased said product and proceeded to use it for repairs on your beloved Mercury vehicles.

Well anyway, one person told me that he used it during his lunch hour at work and sharted through his suit thus forcing him to miss an important afternoon meeting. Another angrily told me that he will be mailing me his boxers with a "full payload" in them to my home after he used the product while at his pastors home and he was every embarrassed and had to use their shower. Another was on a first date and made a small repair while waiting for his girl, he suffered an anal "mishap" and had to go home.

Somehow many of you think this is my fault when I warned you of the ramifications of using Q-Bond. I cannot be held responsible if you effect repairs at your pastors or new girlfriends house or at work etc..

I cannot recommend Q-Bond any longer and please disassociate me with the product or having ever suggested it here. Please understand that I cannot have members dirty draws showing up at my home or the late night phone calls and death threats. I will be forwarding these emails and PM's to the site owners and I assure you that you will be held responsible and accountable for your threats. If you send your draws, they will be forwarded to the NJ forensics lab for DNA testing and a standard stool sample workup. Remember, it is a crime to send offensive materials through the mail!!

In addition, I will be forwarding these emails to local law enforcement and the FBI as they roll in as I fear for my life as well as my family.

Regretfully Yours, Richy04
