Lonnie over Blue Oval Chips is where I picked up mine (FRPP M-6375-H46). At that time he was one of the only vendors to carry it....I search everywhere.

When the motor comes back out I got to check the valves but i assume the guides and stems are scored. Apparently beating the intake into the sidewalk multiple times, running a leafblower through it and using a garden hose wasnt enough to remove the baked in grit. The intake inlets felt like the beach.

Thanks for the words guys:beer:. Right now i am strongly considering the NA aluminator got a quote from tousley $6100 shipped to the door with a twelve month warranty, asked them about the 5200 quote dohc they said it must of been a mistake, Mike and steve at tousley are good guys to deal with though. Not really looking to go with a shortblock or to deal with machine shops the more i deal with shops the sicker I get, wether it be machine shops, powdercoaters or tuners. Do it yourself with oem parts that seems for the most part(of course there are exceptions) the best way to go.

Can't go wrong with Tousley, those guys are great, did you ask for the discount for SVTP members?

Been exploring my options, looks like an Aluminator will be in my future, I saw the Coyote motors on Fords page, if I thought I could make it work, without a ton of mods, I would probably consider it.

Ford does say that the warranty on their motors is only valid if a Dealer installs them.

Sorry for the Hi-jack.

Here is frpp warranty page. says nothing about dealer installation http://www.fordracingparts.com/warranty/limited_warranty_crateengine.p df. I would agree though it would probably be easier to get warranty work done if it was installed at a dealer.

Your correct, my fault.... I breezed through that warranty stuff, I just re-read it, I highlighted in red what I was referring to, it doesn't look like they were referring to the Aluminator.
