This is the final damage after the vandalism. The windows have all been replaced. My question is, keep in mind I've never had to get any paint work done to any of my cars, will a professional bodyshop be able to get rid of these scratches without having to repaint and clear. Is there some sort of compound available to fill these in? Thanks in advance...

Looks like it will need to be repainted. Scratches look pretty deep. I am sure a body shop could fix those areas for less than 500

Looks like most will buff, the rule of thumb, if you can catch your fingernail in the scratch, it won't buff. But a lot depends on how much material is there to buff. A shop that specializes in detailing would have a paint thickness gauge.

Ive removed a ton of these. As long as the scratch isnt through the clear they will come out. Best to have a competent shop look at it and see whats up. Try a detail shop not a body shop, a body shop wants to sell you paint. The one that looks bad is the white looking scratch. Id try removal first with the thought you may have to pant. If you were close id help you but im not.

When I drag my fingernail over it it doesn't catch but you can definitely feel that its there on some of the deeper ones.

I have a buddy of mine that referred me to his shop. He called and told the owner that I did'nt have much money from the insurance claim and he said he'd work with what I had to get her lookin pretty again. And thanks, but it seems like I'm all alone up here in upstate NY :(

If they wet sand to get all of that out and do not reclear that, you will have some pretty thin clear when it is all over.

I had a nice scratch like that and a quick wetsand took it right out. Your best bet is to head to a body shop and see what they can do.

I took it to a few bodyshops and they all said it wouldn't buff out. So I think I'm going to get it touched up as best as they can and put the money in my s/c / full paintjob fund. :-)

That's exactly right...Gotta be very careful, or you'll go right through the clear coat.
