Important Floor Mat Info

Shipped my spare set today, it all looks like a go! The other colors are a done deal as well, just order them how you like when they give us the word. Here's a copy of my email fromRedline this morning.

Thank you. As soon as we receive the mats, we will begin the process...
we won't need to take any orders until I get back a sample from my
manufacturer that is approved by you... once we get this, color matches,
fit is perfect, we will then get the first order going. Yes, we can pick
more than one color for stitching, especially if the orders are all placed
up front. As far as what we will then stock from then on, that will be
determined by what color stitching is most popular - if red and silver
are, then those will likely be the two we stock. But we will order enough
to cover the group of paid buyers up front, along with another 10 or so to
begin for our stocking.

I'm going to try to persuade them to open up here as a vendor to help make this all as smooth as possible.

Want to see the prototype !! As a side note last year I purchased a set of four black Mercury Grand Marquis floor mats, with the Mercury Emblem embroidered (Fins), from my local dealer, for $64.00; and they go nicely with the black MM. I've stored the original Marauder mats for long term keep.

I like the Mercury logo ! The mats are conservative and tastefully done,
and blend nicely with the Marauder interior. Like I said, I'm preserving the original Marauder floor mats and using the Mercury mats for general use. Now that the Mercury line has been officially dropped by Ford, even those Merc mats could have some value one day.
