IM HAVING AIR SUSPENSION SUSPENSION PROBLEMS. my compressor turns on when i start the car. my rear sits lower then the front.i dont see the rear lift up at all. may it be a hose line or somthing? my air susp light comes on ten mins after driving. im thinking about buying coil over springs. has anyone else had this prob? thanks

Don't lose the air suspension! It's part of what makes our cars great!
Your height sensor may be bad or the pump may be weak or both. Mine both went bad at the same time. Does the pump sound slow and or loud?

check the o ring between the black piece ( i dont know what you would call it) and the rest of the motor compressor. that what was wrong with mine

If the pump is bad before replacing it drill a few more weep holes in the pan where it sits (under the air filter). May even enlarge the factories crude attempt a few sizes larger. Water can collect and crap the pump out. Make sure you don't have a breech in one of the bags. Also though improbable check and make sure the height adjuster didn't just loosen up and move to the Left?(do a search on ride height adjustment to be 100% on the direction) to far thus rendering the height as low.:)

I just recently had the exact same problem. Took the pump apart like tbone suggested to in one of his other posts. The inside was a friggn mess. Never imagined it would be in such bad shape. The magnets on the inside of the housing were all cracked and loose and the whole housing was just full of rust. I suggest just buying the 190.00 dollar one from arrnott industries. I got mine limping enough to get the suspension inflated and then shut it off in the trunk until the new one arrives. Still holding after 4 days.

^^what fastf50rd said^^^

Did that for Phoebe...smacked the compressor around until it cooperated one last time and pumped up the springs, then shut it off. Installed the replacement from Arnott and all is good.

One small thing...the connection to the air line on the new compressor is rotated slightly from the OEM one, and it's a tight fit to the windscreen washer bottle.

You just need a good mechanic who can do a dianostic on the system to pin point the problem.
