Hi all,
I'm starting to save up some cash to add some boost. At first I was sure I wanted a turbo. But I'm reconsidering and wondering what you all think?

I went with S/C simply because I knew I would be able to find parts down the line. It paid off because the turbo company for Marauder doesn't exist anymore. For the first time in my life I thought longterm.

I would say it comes down to preference and mechanical ability. I would say that you have 4 choices in total for the different flavors. Here is a basic list of pros & cons. Other members should feel free to add to this list as well as personal experience.
Centrifugal Supercharger
Pros: available as a kit, keeps stock intake manifold
Cons: uses crank pulley & belt to drive supercharger, intercooler is larger air-to-air style, large intake plumbing.
Roots Supercharger
Pros: available as a kit or DIY (Trillogy & Eaton Swap), more manageable plumbing, smaller water-to-air intercooler
Cons: uses crank pulley & belt to drive supercharger, requires full intake swap, potential battery relocation
Single Turbo
Pros: less parasitic loss than supercharger, underhood or remote mount, keep stock intake
Cons: pretty much DIY at this point, lots of plumbing (both intake and exhaust), y-pipe to turbo loses true-dual exhaust, the larger the turbo = longer spool up time (turbo lag), large air-to-air intercooler
Twin Turbo
Pros: less parasitic loss than supercharger, underhood or remote mount, keep true-dual exhaust, each turbo can be smaller than a single = less spool up time, keep stock intake
Cons: DIY, even more plumbing, large air-to-air intercooler
With all of that said, my eventual plan for my Mustang is going to be a DIY twin turbo, but there is a decent amount of space under the hood because those 302 cid motors took up a lot less space than the DOHC 4.6. But that is for a different forum and a lot more time and $$ than I have now.

it also depends how much money you want to spend, if $ was no issue i would go twin turbo. but be prepaired to reinforce the rest of the drivetrain.

I will say this. Not only will this be a money pit, but be sure you have time for this stuff. It took me two years to get the car the way I wanted it, even when I had income.

Turbo if you got the time and money. Get an 03-04 cobra lower intake manifold to use the air to water inter-cooler and fab everything up the way you want it. Less stress on the crank meaning more safe power!

what would you use for an upper intake?

If you go turbo, use your Marauder intake or a 01 Cobra or 03/04 Mach 1 intake. The short runners on the Termi lower kill low end and make less HP overall. The reason Ford used that intake was to fit an intercooler under the blower. In Holdener's book (Making HP on the Dyno) he got 74 more HP/ 70# more torque using the 01 Cobra intake with a Vortech than using Vortech's hat on an 04 Cobra lower. That's 10% more power/torque from the 01 Cobra intake (which, of course, probably means that a centri blower with the long-runner intake will beat the Eaton at the same boost, though the Eaton will have more low-end torque). Use an air-to-air intercooler (also no heat soak).
I went Eaton since I have no room for turbos, like torque, and the Eaton looks good.

Try a craiglist add in Atlanta or you can just contact me lol

If you like torque, you would like a turbo. It makes torque like a 200 shot.
