just clean your's up and paint it bright racing red. that'll look sharp. I think those are a waste the over hang on these cars prevent other's from seeing your rear end anyway.

It isnt all about looks... the girdle cover serves an important purpose supporting bearing caps

Any mustang 8.8 cover will work Abdull, and yes they do more than just look good. Still re-fill your rear end from the factory fill point not the top nut on the cover.

I got my TA performance cover and stud kit from Wes. It's a nice unit, the only thing about it though do not use the fill hole on the cover, use the factory fill hole. Using the cover fill hole will put too much fluid and make the cover seep or have fluid come out the vent hose. It's nice having the drain plug. SmokdMercRauder installed my stud kit also, cheap insurance I guess.

I used this type of gasket to make sure it would not leak again Lube locker reusable gasket. And I did use the filler on the cover but made sure it wasn't to the very top. I started with the front magnet plug out once the fluid started to come out I caped it and then used one of the friction modifier bottles filled with the rear end fluid I used to finish topping off the rear end. Trip to Carlisle and back and more no leaks or blow off from the top rear end vent.

I used the rubber gasket that came with my cover, only time it leaked was when I overfilled the axle. Was told 3-4 quarts when all this is needed is 2.75 quarts.
