I am having problems finding out if the Audiophile CD-6 radio part number 6L8T-18C815-FD
actually has MP3 player , multiple disc, and iPod(aux) capability.
I read the 07 Escape/Mariner Owner Manual and it says Aux(iPod) input is disabled, that Multiple disc is not MP3. It says that single disc Audiophile players have MP3 but none listed show Aux input enabled.
I want MP3 Player and iPod(aux) capability, Multi-Disc would be nice but not required. I have 6-disc changer in trunk.

just installed one of these and it definitely plays mp3 cds in all six slots. Not sure about the aux input but do some searching on this forum and you can get a satellite interface that your Ipod will plug into.

yep what rookie said. if you get the audiophile it has in dash 6-CD changer, the rear changer will not function with the audiophile unit, it does mp-3's and you will have to get an ipod adapter for use with the aux input. :beatnik:

I have the head unit that you are looking for, along with the Sirius module and the PIE adaptor. If you're interested, pm me.
What is the number for the PIE adaptor? Thanks in advance.

Been lurking just not posting alot. Came close to trading the Marauder for a Chrysler 300 this past fall(they were giving them away) but decided to keep her for another year or more. Have to decide whether or not to spend the $$$ on a new paint job if I'm going to keep her, getting roof blisters and some bubbles on 1 of the quarter panels. The rear bumper sag is starting to bother me a little more than usual, it kinda makes the makes the car look old. I've done a couple things lately that make me willing to keep her a little longer like SS brake lines and that Audiophile cd6 swap so she'll be around a little longer at least. I went thru the eatc trouble that everyone has had or will have and swapping the O rings saved me a bunch of dough reaffirming what a great site this is.
