I never did like the driving position I could never get the seat low enough. Today I pulled the seat from the car looked at it for fifteen mins while enjoying a cold beer thinking what could be done. Well unless you want to loose the bracket that serves up all the adjustments or add a thinner cushion you can't do much. So what I did was change out two of the six springs for longer ones that support the seat cushion closest to the rear of the seat. The longer springs allowed the cushion to drop just enough to make a difference. The drop also allowed for more lateral support of the seat cushion.

This extra drop won't do anything to the heated seat wiring will it? Wouldn't want you to get charbroiled on the way home from work.:)

No the extra drop in the seat height will not affect any of the wiring.
