Hey there fellow MM owners..I'm Bugsy from Myrtle Beach..My 03 black MM (65,000 miles) has the sort of common problem of no a/c blower working.I've read numerous postings about this problem, and it seems I might need to replace the BCM( blower contol modual ).. I am looking for a good honest mechanic in my area to install it. any recommendations or advise is welcomed.. I saw the instuctions on how to but..I am :help:not too mechanical. also how much for part and where to buy? how much to install?? I am retired disabled vet..(Vietnam) any help would be great. Thanks in advance....Bugsyc :bigcry:

Welcome to the Carolina Marauders

I would ask(see) if "Marauder386", here on the board if he could steer you somewhere---he is in the low country of SC ...and knows some ins and outs so to speak------

Also , maybe my friend "fastblackmerc" can lend a hand in some of that tech stuff--he is real good at that kinda thing....

......and welcome to Marauder land.............come on up to Charlotte on
Sept. 8-12---we're having Marauderville VIII--Check the home page on this board....

Come and meet those you meet here on the board and find out how to do things to your MM--and enjoy fun places and events with us....... Tom

Next time I'm in Myrtle beach I will need to look you up. I own a time share with Marriott and love the place. I try to get there a few times a year.

I had the same problem last year, sounds like the same thing. Had the BCM replaced 100 bucks, air blowing back in my face; Priceless

I had the same problem about a year ago. Also, along with no blower, I had no clock or cruise control. Took it to my local L/M dealer. Turns out all three electrical devices are protected by the same fuse (#6, I think). Fuse itself was OK, but the metal prongs were corroded. New fuse box not available from FoMoCo. So the mechanic tried cleaning and bending the prongs for more tension and it worked.

When is the car show?

October 16th this year.

Great time, and the Mustang guys love us!

We usually get together the Friday evening before the show for some food, fellowship, and an adult beverage or two; would be great if you could join us.
