Today took a buzz up to Musclemerc's and put a few Mods on. First we started off with Musclemerc CA's. What a work of art. Truley, a must have Mod. I could already feel the difference 1st to 2nd shifts. No more spin=faster. Next we did the dredded bumper sag issue. No more parachute bumper for me. Then we went to the emblem Mod. That baby looks sweet. After my throttle body fiasco the other day, we cleaned out the PCV, and MAF. After the tons of oil I witnessed in my throttle body. The next must have MOD is the Musclemerc Oil Catch can. A HUGE thank you out to Travis:bows::bows:. The people here in the MM.net community are awesome. Afterall, today I got to be the helper(AKA Flunky as he put it). I didn't mind, cause my "shade tree mechanic licsense" expired. Again, THANKS TRAVIS!!!!
Can wait to test out the CA's, More to follow....
CA's getting ready to go in. (look at the workmanship)

David, it'a a true pleasure having you over. We always have a good laugh and it seems like the time just fly's by. Enjoy the new mods on the MM, I know the CA's will give you years of worry free service and with the way you drive atleast I know your gonna be safe with the rear end planted firmly on the ground. :burn: You keep up the good work and you'll have that shade tree mechanics license back in no time.

Did you ever find out what was up with your rear and why it was so much over to the passenger side? Think the CA's were bent some?

Does dremeling out the waterfall, scuff the paint/finish on the trunk? Not that it's noticeable afterwords cause it's under the gods-head but just sayin, maybe for rust..

No, cause you don't hit the trunk if you are careful. You can also put some blue tape around the area for precaution.

They are, and IMO, the best option out there.
Easy to do, too.

The only aggravating thing is the plastic keeps rolling around and reforming! I had to also shave a 1/16" or so backside bevel on the center cap for a precise fit. Love it though. Best, cheapest mod out there.

+1 Bob, if you take your time and grind slow it will all come together. I have a shaft for my dremel and a speed control that make the job easier.
On another note I did'nt tape anything on MMBLUE's trunk because this was my 3rd time doing this mod. I kept reminding him every time I raised my dremel "this is gonna hurt you more than it does me" He He....

I had to do the same, but it was worth it to get the proper fit.

Thanks for reminding me of that TS. I was somewhat apprehensive at first but Musclemerc is schooled in Dremmel.
