Sounds like your tire sizes are off.

If you have TC you CAN NOT run the same size tires front/rear. You need to run the OEM 245/55/18 or larger on the rear for the TC to work properly -OR- drive with the TC turned off. Many of us here have gone with 255/55/18 on the rear as there are many more choices in that size.

If you choose to run that size tire you could always get a Xcal and change the tire size within the tune.

Grrrr! You stole my thunder, lol! The 255 rears is spot on, that's what I switched to.

well i do plan to get a tune soon (within a couple of weeks) should i hold of on the tires till i get a tune? Biggest question is am I damaging anything by running like this?

Yeah, your brakes if you keep running it with traction control on. Just flip it off whenever you sit in the car.

I had no idea this could be fixed with a tune. I always thought the tire size in the tune was just for correcting the speedo. Learn something new everyday.

That's part of what makes this site the ****z-bomb.

Last time I checked changing the Revs Per Mile in the User End Adjustments is just for correcting the speedo. The shifts will still be off unless the tuner has corrected the adjustments within the tune file. Otherwise you'll have to play with the Shift MPH when upsizing the rear tire. I had to do it until Zack set my RPM within the tune.

You cannot fix it with a tune!!:shake:
For some reason you cannot turn the Traction Control off in these cars......tried it many times and it don't work......probably has to do with ABS safety??
You need to have the right front/rear tire size differential to fix it!!

+1, Maruaderjack is correct. The TC can not be modified with a tuner. You'll need the new tires.
