So the final word on my fight over the gravel truck damage to my MM was settled today.
The guy I 1st talked to worked for the gravel truck company posing as an insurance agent, after 3 weeks of going back and forth on the estimates, and not taking it anywhere they wanted it fixed have do it, he finally game an an altimatum.... they would give me $3500 of the $4300 estimate I got from the closest SVT/ROUSCH dealership, or I could have thier insurance adjuster come out and asses the damage.
I told him to hurry up and send someone out already.
So I finally get a guy from the gravel truck's insurance company (not someone who works for the gravel truck company posing as an insurance person).
I washed the car and just got it dried when he showed up. Nice guy, been in the business for 20yrs he said, he looked around the car for 15 mins with me pointing out damage. He took some pics (which im sure turned out horrible on a clean black car inside a building with a bunch of floresent lights above the car and he was using the flash) (he's the expert right?) and then said his boss would call me tomorrow and let me know they were mailing the check. Said it was obvious it was all fresh rock damage.
Today I got a call and said that the check is in the mail!! It covers the ENTIRE estimate and rental. :woohoo:
